Biographies


Emil Huckle-Kleve er en Britisk/Norsk fiolinist som begynte å spille på en tidlig alder med faren sin Roger Huckle som lærer. Han tok sin Bachelorgrad ved Royal Academy of Music, London hvor han vant Mica Comberti prisen for solo Bach og spilte for eminente musikere som Maxim Vengerov og James Ehnes. Etterpå tok han en Mastergrad ved Barratt Due musikkinstitutt og til dagen jobber han fast i Oslo Filharmonien. Samtidig er han en aktiv kammermusikker, solist og aspirerende komponist som har hatt musikken sin spilt av blant annet Den Spanske Radio Orkester.

 


Siri Einen har sin utdanning fra Norges musikkhøgskole og det kongelige danske musikkonservatorium hvor hun studerte hos Terje Moe Hansen, Kolbjørn Holthe, Serguei Azizian og Peter Herresthal. Hun har hatt vikariater i KORK, Oslofilharmonien og Sydney Symphony orchestra. Siden 2014 har hun vært fast ansatt i Bergen filharmoniske orkester. Ved siden av jobben i BFO er hun en aktiv kammermusiker.

Frida Skaftun (født i 1995) er nylig uteksaminert fra Sibeliusakademiet i Helsinki. Hun har tidligere vært engasjert i Helsinki-filharmonien men er nå fast ansatt som cellist i Bergen-filharmonien. Hun spiller også fast i Ensemble Allegria og har spilt mye med Oslo-filharmonien. Frida er utrolig glad i å spille kammermusikk og har spilt med blant annet Leif Ove Andsnes, Tabea Zimmermann og Alisa Weilerstein. i 2021 vant hun førstepris i Worldvision Contest i sin kategori. Hun spiller på en cello lagd av den belgiske instrumentmakeren Thomas Meuwissen.

Ingrid Rugesæter Eriksen.
Ingrid er bratsjist og ekte Bergenser. Hun har sin utdanning fra Norges musikkhøgskole og Griegakademiet hvor hun studerte hos Catherine Bullock og Hans Gunnar Hagen. Ingrid begynte tidlig å vikariere i Oslo Filharmoniske Orkester, Stavanger Symfoniorkester og Bergen Filharmoniske Orkester. Hun har hatt flere lengre vikariater i Bergen og er fast vikar i orkesteret. I tillegg er Ingrid en aktiv frilanser og kammermusiker.

Åse Mathiesen studerte i Stockholm med professor Staffan Scheja og senere i Oslo med professor Jiri Hlinka ved Barratt-Dues Musikkinstitutt. Mens hun studerte ved Barratt-Due spilte Åse sin første konsert i Oslo konserthus. Åse har siden gjort recitals og konserter i de nordiske land og Europa. Hun har et bredt repertoar med forankring i klassiske og romantiske komponister samt for musikk som er i ferd med å gå i glemmeboken. Åse er en aktiv kammermusiker og samarbeider med anerkjente artister på nordiske musikkscener og er involvert i mange prosjekt støttet av Norsk Kulturråd. Hun er medlem av Solistene– The Norwegian Opera soloists.

Emil Huckle-Kleve is a violinist and composer with a background from the UK and is half Bergenese. Since 2014 he has been a member of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra whilst performing regularly as a soloist and chamber musician. He has played at festivals including Malta International Music festival, Oslo Chamber Music festival, Belfast International Arts festival with chamber groups Oslo 3, Duo Emil and Duo Mira. Chamber orchestras he has played with include the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, Terjungensemble and the Bristol Ensemble. Emil started playing at an early age taught by his father Roger Huckle and later gained a Bachelor degree from the Royal Academy of Music, London, where he also won the Mica Comberti Prize for solo Bach. He took a Master's degree at the Barratt Due Institute of Music and has received coaching from eminent musicians including Maxim Vengerov, James Ehnes, Tasmin Little, Henning Kraggerud and Terje Tønnessen. His keen interest in composition in more recent year has lead him to study film music at the Norwegian film school where he had his pieces recorded by Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and the Spanish Radio Orchestra.

Siri Einen has her education from the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Terje Moe Hansen, Kolbjørn Holthe, Serguei Azizian and Peter Herresthal. She has held substitute positions in KORK, the Oslo Philharmonic and the Sydney Symphony orchestra. Since 2014, she has been a permanent employee of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. Alongside her work at BFO, she is an active chamber musician.

Ingrid Rugesæter Eriksen is a violist and a true Bergenser. She has her education from the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Grieg Academy, where she studied with Catherine Bullock and Hans Gunnar Hagen. Ingrid started working as a substitute in the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the

Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra early on. She has had several long-term substitutes in Bergen and is a permanent substitute in the orchestra. In addition, Ingrid is an active freelancer and chamber musician.

Frida Skaftun has recently graduated from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. She has previously been engaged by the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra but is now permanently employed as a cellist in the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. She also plays regularly with Ensemble Allegria and has played extensively with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra. Frida is incredibly fond of playing chamber music and has played with, among others, Leif Ove Andsnes, Tabea Zimmermann and Alisa Weilerstein. In 2021 she won 1st prize in the Worldvision Contest in her category. She plays on a cello made by the Belgian luthier Thomas Meuwissen.

Åse Mathiesen studied in Stockholm with professor Staffan Scheja and later in Oslo with professor Jiri Hlinka at Barratt-Due Musikkinstitutt. While studying at Barratt-Due Musikkinstitutt, Åse Mathiesen played her first concert in Oslo Concert Hall. Since then Åse performs in recitals and concerts across the Nordic countries and Europe. She has a wide repertoar and shows a big interest in the classic and romantic composers, as well as in the less known music which is at risk of being forgotten. Åse Mathiesen is an active chamber musician, collaborating with renowned members of the Nordic music scene. She is frequently performing in prominent venues. Åse is also participating in several concert projects supported by the Arts Council Norway. She is a member of Solistene– The Norwegian Opera soloists....
