Since 2010, the duo is made up of cellist NATALIA ORLOWSKA and pianist BARTOSZ SOSNOWSKI. They met for the first time at the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz in Poland, where they both completed master's studies. Then they were continuing their education at the Norwegian ... Music Academy in Oslo and the University of Stavanger.

The duo combines influences of the Polish and Norwegian culture, music and teaching traditions. Having musical roots in these two countries, they show an unique performing style with great variety of interpretations and musical aesthetics. The duo specialize in romantic repertoire included many transcriptions, as well as contemporary music. They are deeply interested in many fields of art, such as literature, poetry and fine arts what find the results in their interpretations. The aim of the duo is presenting the wide and rich repertoire for cello and piano through a solid chamber music works. They further aspires to collaborate with composers to perform new Polish and Scandinavian music. Due to their active presence in master classes and various opportunities for in-depth guidance with renowned musicians, the duo has forged various relationships with such artists as Einar Steen- Nøkleberg, Henning Kraggerud, Andrzej Bauer and Bartosz Koziak.

They performed concerts in Poland and across Norway in such places as Oslo Opera House, Stavanger Konserthus as well as in Kristiansund, Sandnes, Lørenskog, Lillestrøm and Northern Norway in Alta. The duo intends to work for cultural exchange between Poland and Norway and the main focus is centered in concerts in both countries, combined with educational activities directed to local communities.

NATALIA ORLOWSKA is a Polish cellist born in Bydgoszcz, Poland. She studied at Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, Norwegian Academy of Music and University of Stavanger. She made her debut at the Pomeranian Philharmonic as a soloist when she was 9 years old. She is a laureate of many solo and chamber competitions, (e.g. Cello Competition in Bydgoszcz, Chamber Music Competition in Warsaw, Luigi Boccherini Cello Competition in Zamosc and distinctions at the J.S.Bach Competition in Zielona Góra). She is also a dedicated chamber musician and has played in many different constellations, such as duo, string trio, piano trio, string quartets and piano quartet. She cooperated with the Dextra Musica Foundation (2011-2014) which provided her cello made by Silvio Levaggi in Cremona, Italy. In Norway she worked, among others, as a district musician in Kristiansund, playing in the opera, sinfonietta and string quartet. She has also collaborated with various ensembles and orchestras.

Natalia Orlowska has participated in many festivals and concerts in Poland and Norway, among others in Oslo, Stavanger, Lillestrøm, Lørenskog, Kristiansund and Alta. She perfected her skills at master classes with such musicians as Ralph Kirshbaum, Henning Kraggerud, Clemens Hagen, Marco Ylönen and Stephan Kropfitsch. Contemporary music has always played an important part in her repertoire. She is a part of contemporary chamber music ensemble „Kammerklang”. A special place for her will always have a cello-piano duo in which she has played for 10 years, together with pianist Bartosz Sosnowski. Together they performed most of the pieces from the standard repertoire for cello and piano as well as many transcriptions from the violin repertoire. They are the laureates of the chamber competition in Stavanger in 2017.

BARTOSZ SOSNOWSKI is a Polish pianist born in Krakow. He is a laureate of many piano competitions in Poland. In 2002 he made his debut at the Krakow Philharmonic. He studied in Bydgoszcz in the piano class of Professor Jerzy Sulikowski. He finished his master's studies in 2012, performing Ravels Piano Concerto for The Left Hand at the Pomeranian Philharmonic. Then he studied at Norwegian Academy of Music in the piano class of Professor Einar Steen-Nøkleberg. Bartosz worked at the Academy in Bydgoszcz as a chamber pianist in the cello class and then at the University of Stavanger. He has performed with many ensembles in Poland and Norway. In addition, he teaches and spreads classical music among children and youth, leading a music school in Lørenskog.
