BIOGRAPHIES
Guitarist NORA GUNDERSEN has studied at the Grieg Academy, Conservatoire & Université de Strasbourg (Bachelor and Diploma in Romantic Guitar), CEFEDEM de Lorraine in France (Bachelor of Music Education), University of Alicante (Master titulo propio) and Staadtliche Hochschende für Musik Art Stuttgart, Germany (master in performing classical guitar). Her guitar teachers in Strasbourg were ...Susana Prieto and Alexis Mouzourakis, known as duo Melis. In Alicante, she received masterclasses with, among others, David Russell, Roberto Aussell, Carles Trepat, Nigel North, Hopkinson Smith, Manuel Barrueco and Ignacio Rodes. In addition, she has studied early music and plays the Renaissance lute and theorbe.

Nora is an active solo and chamber musician and she engaged in foundation ofS the association "Tremolo" in Strasbourg. With her guitar and flute duo, duo Amasia, she won the 2nd prize in the Concours national de musique de chambre in Remiremont in France in 2019. They also released an album, Amasia, in March 2020. Nora won the 2nd prize in the Norwegian youth music championship in 2002, and the 1st prize in 2004. Nora has received Askøy municipality's cultural scholarship.

Pianist ODA VOLTERSVIK holds a Master in Performance from the Royal College of Music London and an Artist Diploma from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with distinction. She is a 1st prize winner of the Bradshaw£Buono International competition (Carnegie Hall, 2017), and a finalist of the London Intercollegiate Jaques Samuels competition (Wigmore Hall, 2016).

She has recorded a CD “Khoreia”, Volt&Potenza Duo, with great reviews (Musicweb- International) and a solo CD “ Firebird” with an outstanding review from Klassiskmusikk.com. Venues include “Palermo Classica” International Festival, the 1st International Folk Music Festival in Beijing, St Martin in the Fields, St James`s Piccadilly, Scandinavia House NY, recitals and lunchtime concerts at the Edvard Grieg museum (2014- 2020), and countless solo and chamber music concerts in Norway and abroad, especially in the UK.

Upcoming events include solo performances with Aberdeen Chamber Orchestra and Northport Symphony Orchestra NY and a debut in the Norwegian Opera House.

For her concert tours (solo & Volt Ensemble), she has several times been awarded funding by the Norwegian Arts Council, Music Norway, FFUK and Bergen City. She is the project leader of Volt Ensemble and a member of the Volt&Potenza duo.
