Biographies

The duo is formed by polish cellist Natalia Orlowska and pianist Bartosz
Sosnowski. Their partnership started during studies in Academy of Music
in Bydgoszcz in Poland in 2010.

Since 2013 they were continuing their education at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and the University of Stavanger.

Natalia and Bartosz combines influences of the Polish and Norwegian culture and artistic traditions. Having musical roots in these two countries, they show a unique performing style with great variety of interpretations and musical aesthetics.

The duo specializes in romantic repertoire included many transcriptions, as well as contemporary music. They are deeply interested in many fields of art, such as literature and fine arts what find the results in their interpretations.

The aim of the duo is presenting the wide and rich repertoire for cello and piano through a solid chamber music works. Their program choices always reflecting their interest in storytelling. They further aspires to collaborate with composers to perform new Polish and Scandinavian music.

Due to their active presence in master classes and various opportunities for in-depth guidance with renowned musicians, the duo has forged various relationships with such artists as Henning Kraggerud, Einar Steen-

Nøkleberg, Andrzej Bauer and Bartosz Koziak.

They performed concerts in Poland and across Norway in such places as
Oslo Opera House, Stavanger Konserthus, Ibsenhuset in Skien as well as in Northern Norway in Kristiansund, Mo i Rana and Alta.

The duo intends to work for cultural exchange between Poland and Norway and the main focus is centered in concerts in both countries, combined with educational activities directed to local communities.
