LINDA HEDLUND was graduated in Vienna 2002 (University of Music and performing Arts) and has since earned a Doctor of Music degree in violin performance from the Sibelius-Academy, where she also worked as university assistant during her time as a student.
Dr. Hedlund has been successful in various competitions and has worked as first concertmaster a.o. at the Pacific Music Festival Japan (1999) with Michael Tilson Thomas and with Tapiola Sinfonietta (2004). She has appeared as leader/soloist with Sinfonia da Camera Finlandia, the Austrian Chamber Orchestra and various recording projects.
Performing internationally as soloist and chamber musician, Dr. Hedlund has partnered with a.o. principal players of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, cellist Steven Isserlis, and pianist prof. Oliver Kern for chamber music. She has also performed as soloist with a.o. La Tempesta orchestra, Istanbul Chamber Orchestra, Vogtland Philharmonie, Austrian Chamber Orchestra, Lohja City Orchestra, Kaunianen City Orchestra and OSUEL Symphony orchestra in Brazil. Dr. Hedlund has performed successfully as soloist and chamber musician at many prestigious festivals including Helsinki Festival (Finland), Musica Nova (Helsinki), Grafenegg Festival (Austria), Honart Festival Konzerthaus Wien and in Carnegie Hall, New York. Her performances have also been broadcasted on radio and TV in Finland (Yle), Radio Classic, Czech Republic (Radio Free Europe), in Austria (ORF) and in the US (WFMT).
She founded the Emäsalo Music Festival in 2007, taking place each summer in southern Finland.
On her acclaimed debut CD (issued under the Finnish label Fuga in 2008) she collaborated with pianist Oliver Kern in sonatas by Franck, Saint-Saëns and Debussy. Another CD (with guitarist Otto Tolonen) was released 2011 by Classic Concert Music Group, Salzburg.
DEBBY BALD was born in Hagen/Westfalen. She early startet performing the cello. She quickly gained recognition for her great talent and she entered the orchestra of Schwerte („Ruhrstadtorchester“), where she played for about ten years in the role of leading cello or as a solist.
A couple of years she was chosen as a member of the „Landesjugendorchester NRW“ with concerts in the „Düsseldorfer Tonhalle“ and „Essener Philharmionie“, where she took a part in recording CD´s. In kooperation with concerts, she traveled to China (2006) and Poland (2005), Russia (2007) and the Czech Republic (2009).
During her musical career, Debby Bald received several important national awards in varous categories. She attended different masterclasses, especially by Professor Hans-Erik Deckert (denmark), Professor Gerhard Mantel (Musikhochschule Frankfurt) and Troels Svane (Musikhochschule Lübeck). In 2003 Debby Bald was accompanied as a solist by the Symphonieorchester Hagen directed by conductor Antony Hermus and other great regional orchestras.
Currently Debby Bald plays in several orchestras and she is set in some formations of chamber musik. Frequently she performs in Duos and Trios, with pianist Roberto Issoglio(Italia), violonist Massimo Marin (Italia), clarinetist Miguel Angel Tamarit (Spain) and violonist Chihat Askin (Turkey). She also was intrumental in „Festival Mozart“ in Turin. As an academic in Goethe Institut Turin, she supports connections with conservatory „Giuseppe Verdi“ Turin.
ROBERT ISSOGLIO – concert pianist, educationist for piano, visiting professor at institute of music at the university of Osnabrück, chairman of Mozart-company Turin.
Starting his musical career in his native city, Turin, where he commenced playing the piano at younger ages, he was a student of Maria Gachet (Turin) and Bruno Canino (Milan). He worked in cooperation with Roland Pröll (Osnabrück) and participated further education by Pavel Gililov and Peter Lang (Mozarteum Salzburg) and amplified his profession. He reached his diplom as a concert pianist in Alessandria and studied educational music. He won several national and international competitions for musicians, playing on his own or in combination with other musician artists. For a couple of years, Roberto Issoglio works in collaboration with different kinds of international ensembles (e.g.: Orchester of the BBC and "London Philharmonic Orchestra“, Duo with Claudio Ferrarini (flutist), Duo with Chihat Askin (Violine), members of chamber ensemble of the Berliner Philharmonie, Duo with Bruno Canino and cooperated concerts with Julius Berger). Roberto Issoglio gave guest performances in Sazburg, Istanbul, Berlin, Valencia and several times in London ("St. Martin in Fields“). Since 2006 repeatedly he was a member of the jury at international contests "Torneo Internazionale di Musica“ (TIM) in france and italia. Beside his funktion as a national mentor with other established musicians like Marcello Abbado, he is in charge of artistical chamber-music-masterclass at „Festival di Pasqua di Cervo“ (Imperia). Additional he works as a continuous visiting professor at institute of music at the university of Osnabrück and since 2010 he is chairman of Mozart-company ("Associazione Mozart Italia Sede di Torino“).
