||OLIVIERO HASSAN-SAAVEDRA has been a member of Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra's viola section since 2008. He originally studied the violin with Marianna Sirbú at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig. Having grown up in Berlin, his first violin teachers had been Amadeus Heutling of the Berlin Philharmonic, and Abraham Jaffé.

Before joining the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Oliviero has played with numerous German orchestras, such as SWR Baden-Baden & Freiburg, the NDR Radiophilharmonie, Hamburger Symphoniker and others. He plays a viola by Michael Stürtzenhofecker from 2012.
